ALDI Recall Alert: Discard Affected Items in 37 States

Fellow shoppers… there’s a major ALDI food recall happening across 37 states, and it’s time to double-check your pantry and freezer.

The ALDI recall of July 2025 includes a range of popular items like frozen churro bites and pork carnitas, both pulled due to contamination concerns and undeclared allergens. If you’ve stocked up during your last grocery run, now’s the time to take a closer look at those labels.

ALDI has teamed up with federal agencies and product suppliers to issue an ALDI product safety alert, advising customers to immediately stop using the affected products and either toss them or return them for a full refund. It’s all about keeping shoppers safe, especially those who may be at risk from hidden ingredients like milk, soy, and peanuts.

Aldi Food Recall Update: Customers In 37 States Told to "Discard" Products

So far, the food recall of 2025 covers a variety of fresh and frozen goods. One of the most attention-grabbing recalls involves Casa Mamita Churro Bites Filled with Chocolate Hazelnut Cream.

These snackable bites were pulled on June 4th after officials found undeclared milk in the ingredient list, a serious risk for anyone with a dairy allergy. Sold in 13 states, including Florida, Kentucky, and North Carolina, the product can be returned for a refund, no receipt required.

Another big one is the Park Street Deli Pork Carnitas, which were recalled in mid-April due to possible metal fragments. That’s not the kind of crunch anyone wants in their tacos.

These 16-ounce trays (UPC 4099100029352) were distributed in 15 states, with “use by” dates of 06/30/25 and 07/01/25. Similarly, the Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos were recalled over the same issue. If you spot either in your freezer, it's best to say goodbye to them and get your money back.

Seafood lovers in California, Nevada, and Arizona should also note the recall of Atlantic Salmon Portions with Seafood Stuffing. They were both found to contain undeclared soy. And, for anyone taking supplements, Welby Vitamin B12 tablets were recalled due to the presence of an undeclared peanut allergen, an especially dangerous oversight for allergy-sensitive individuals.

Why It Matters

Food recalls like these aren’t just about inconvenience. According to allergists, even trace amounts of common allergens like milk, soy, or peanuts can trigger serious, sometimes life-threatening, reactions.

For someone who’s allergic, their immune system will see these proteins as invaders and respond with a cascade of inflammatory chemicals. That can lead to anything from hives and swelling, to full-blown anaphylaxis.

And, for others, the thought of accidentally biting into metal is enough to make you pass on taco night altogether. Thankfully, ALDI’s taking action. On their website, the company emphasized that consumer safety is their top priority.

What to Do If You Have a Recalled Product

If you’ve purchased any of the recalled ALDI products, stop using them right away. You can toss them or return them to your local store for a full refund, no receipt necessary.

If you or someone in your household experiences symptoms after consuming one of these items, call your doctor and consider filing a report with the FDA’s MedWatch program.

And, if you want to stay informed, you can follow ongoing updates and additional food safety news on ALDI’s official newsroom or FDA.gov.

Another ALDI Food Recall
