A music supervisor on American Idol, Robin Kaye, was allegedly murdered at her home in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles alongside her husband Thomas Deluca.

Police apparently performed a welfare check on Monday (July 14) and discovered the gruesome scene.

LAPD reportedly found blood upon entry, and a window that had been broken. They apparently suffered from gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased. Neighbors claimed that it had been 4 days since family had heard from them before the welfare check was performed. These deaths are reportedly being investigated as a double homicide at this time.

TMZ is reporting that last week, police were called to the home after a suspect was seen – possibly with a firearm – trying to break in.

Robin had worked on American Idol for nearly 300 episodes. She also had won Guild of Music Supervisors Awards. She also previously worked on the Miss Universe pageants as well as Lip Sync Battle.

The home they lived in apparently once belonged to late rapper Juice WRLD, who passed away in 2019.
