Anne Burrell Was Found Unresponsive by Her Husband on the Shower Floor, According to Police
Anne Burrell‘s husband, Stuart Claxton, was the person who found her unresponsive and lying on the floor of their shower, according to a new report.
Police told TMZ that Stuart found Anne unconscious in their bathroom early on Tuesday morning (June 17).
He last saw her alive around 1 a.m. the night before, and found her between six and seven hours later in the shower, per the report. He then called 911.
The 911 operator advised him to perform CPR but her body was already cold, and it’s unclear whether he attempted CPR or not.

A medical examiner has not yet determined her official cause of death.
The New York City Fire Department said the incident was reported to them as a cardiac arrest. The personnel went tot their Brooklyn home and attempted CPR, but they were unable to revive her.
