Ben Barnes Reacts to Greta Gerwig's New 'Chronicles of Narnia' Project After Starring in 2008 & 2010 Movies

Ben Barnes is reacting to the news about Greta Gerwig‘s The Chronicles of Narnia.
If you don’t know, the 43-year-old actor starred as Prince Caspian in the 2008 and 2010 films based on the fan favorite books.
Now, a new Netflix adaptation is coming. Greta wrote the script for the upcoming film and she’s also directing the project. The movie will be an adaptation of “The Magician’s Nephew,” the sixth novel in the C.S. Lewis book series.
Ben is speaking out about the new iteration.

“With classic literature, there’s no end to the ways they can be adapted as long as it’s being fresh and it’s speaking to a new generation. I think that those stories have this one, some fantasy really allows you to tell beautifully allegorical stories about hope and goodness and faith. I think that it’d be really interesting to see her take on that. I’m thrilled that [it] is getting retold,” Ben told Variety.
Emma Mackey will reportedly be playing the White Witch and rumors have swirled that Daniel Craig is being eyed to play the uncle and Meryl Streep will voice the talking lion Aslan.
A fan-favorite actress has addressed rumors that she has been cast in the movie.
