Beyoncé had a malfunction in the middle of her Cowboy Carter Tour show on Sunday (June 28) in her hometown of Houston, Texas.

The 43-year-old entertainer was performing “16 Carriages” while flying over the stage in a red car when one side went down and she nearly fell out as she slid down the seat.

While she continued to sing initially, she said to stop the show, and the car was safely lowered down. After it was down, Beyoncé walked down through the floor.

After returning to the stage, Bey made light of the situation, telling the crowd with a smile, “If I ever fall, I know y’all would catch me.” She then performed the rest of the song while safely on the stage.

This was one of two nights in her hometown, after returning from several shows in the UK and Europe.
