Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise Reunite at 'F1' London Premiere

Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise turned heads on June 23 when they reunited for the first time in over two decades at the F1 premiere in London. The two Hollywood icons, who last shared a red carpet back in 2001, were all smiles as they greeted each other with a warm hug and a handshake outside the Cineworld Leicester Square theater.

Fans of Interview With the Vampire were especially thrilled to see the duo together again. The event unofficially doubled as an Interview With the Vampire reunion, with both stars visibly happy to reconnect after so many years, creating the red carpet moment that fans have been dreaming about for years.

Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt Reunite After 24 Years at 'F1' Premiere

The F1 premiere wasn’t just about fast cars and sleek storytelling. It was a celebration of filmmaking heavyweights. Brad Pitt, who stars in and co-produced the film, was joined by director Joseph Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. And, while that lineup alone is impressive, Tom Cruise’s surprise appearance took things to another level.

Cruise, who has worked with Kosinski and Bruckheimer on Top Gun: Maverick, came out to support his former co-star. On social media, he shared his excitement with fans, writing, “Great night at the movies with my friends!!” along with a photo of himself and Pitt standing in front of a race car. His caption read, “You guys crushed it!!”

A Look Back at Their First Onscreen Partnership

Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise first appeared together on screen in 1994’s Interview With the Vampire, the gothic drama based on Anne Rice’s novel. While their characters were anything but close, behind the scenes, the two shared plenty of playful moments, including go-kart races between takes.

“We did have our go-kart back in the '90s,” Pitt recalled with a grin in a recent interview. “He got me in the end, though, I gotta admit.” Apparently, that competitive streak hasn’t faded. Cruise recently confirmed at CinemaCon 2025 that Pitt was “a very good driver.”

No Action Movie Reunion In the Making

While we’re all holding out hope for another onscreen team-up, Pitt was quick to joke about the possibility. When he was asked if he’d ever consider appearing in a Mission: Impossible film, he laughed, “I’m not gonna hang my ass off an airplane.” Pitt made it clear that high-altitude stunts aren’t really his thing, adding that he tends to avoid “stuff like that” when choosing roles.

Still, the mutual respect is obvious. Cruise’s public praise, along with the ease with which they reunited at the F1 premiere, shows there’s no bad blood, just two legends of cinema catching up in front of the cameras.

A Moment Worth the Wait

In the end, this Brad Pitt Tom Cruise reunion at the London red carpet event was more than just a nostalgic photo-op. It was a reminder of how rare and special it is to see two megastars genuinely enjoying each other’s company. Their shared history, from brooding vampires to cheeky go-kart races, still resonates with fans.

As the cameras flashed and the fans cheered, the sight of Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise laughing together once again proved that some Hollywood reunions are worth the wait. Whether they’re burning rubber in a race car film or just reminiscing about their vampire days, one thing’s clear: when these two show up together, it’s a moment we’ll all remember.
