Conner Floyd and Billy Flynn are switching soap operas!

On Monday (June 23), it was announced that Conner, 32, is set to join Days of Our Lives as the new Chad DiMera following Billy‘s, 40, departure from the role after more than a decade.

However, fans are going to have to wait a long time before Conner officially hits TV screens.

Keep reading to find out more…The official Days Instagram account shared a photo of Conner standing outside of his new dressing room and announced that he won’t be making his debut on the show until April 2026.

Since 2021, Conner has played Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV on The Young and the Restless and his casting on Days comes after Billy made his debut on Y&R last week as the new Cane Ashby, a character previously played by Daniel Goddard from 2007 to 2019.

Billy celebrated Conner‘s Days casting by writing on his Instagram Story, “Congrats @connergfloyd! Chad is in great hands. You’re gonna crush it man.”
