Dua Lipa has confirmed the big news: she IS engaged to Callum Turner!

The 29-year-old entertainer and 35-year-old actor first sparked engagement rumors in 2024 when she was seen with a diamond ring on her ring finger. Since then, fans have basically assumed they are engaged, but she finally confirmed it!

“Yeah, we’re engaged. It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever—it’s a really special feeling,” she confirmed to British Vogue.

Callum had a custom engagement ring made with the help of Dua‘s sister, Rina.

She shared, “I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”

About the wedding, they don’t have a date. Why? She explained, “I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period. I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”

She also revealed when she first met Callum: in 2020, just before lockdowns, she went to an event at the River Cafe in London. He was also there, and was introduced by co-founder Ruth Rogers.

A year later, they were both having dinner in Los Angeles and she said to herself, “Oh, it’s that really hot guy from The River Cafe.”

They discovered they were both reading the same book at that time, Hernan Diaz‘s “Trust.”

The first time the pair were publicly linked was in 2024.
