Fat Joe Sued for $20 Million By Former Hype Man, Rapper Denies Accusations

Fat Joe is denying the accusations being made against him in a $20 million lawsuit.
The 54-year-old rapper’s former hype man, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon, filed a lawsuit against Joe (whose real name is Joseph Antonio Cartagena) on Thursday (June 19) in New York.
Now, Joe is denying all the accusations lodged against him in the new lawsuit.

According to Variety, Terrance is suing the rapper for “coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, violent intimidation, and psychological coercion.” In his lawsuit, Terrance is seeking a sum of $20 million.
In addition to alleging that Joe would force his hype man to engage in sexual acts in order to maintain his status, Terrence‘s lawsuit alleges that Joe would “engage in sexual relations with children who were 15 and 16 years old.”
On Friday (June 20), Joe‘s attorney shared a statement with E! News denying all of the allegations filed against him. The attorney states, “The allegations against Mr. Cartagena are complete fabrications—lies intended to damage his reputation and force a settlement through public pressure.”
