A fan wrote in to TVLine and asked if any FBI universe stars would be joining the new show.
Their sources are claiming that the series is in a “holding pattern,” which includes other cast members not being added. Why? Apparently, the scripts needed “further polishing.”
CIA is still scheduled to premiere on Mondays in the fall on CBS.
Here’s the synopsis that was reported in April by Deadline: The show “centers on two unlikely partners – a fast-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA case officer (Ellis), and a by-the-book, seasoned and smart FBI agent who believes in the rule of law. When this odd couple are assigned to work out of CIA’s New York Station, they must learn to work together to investigate cases and criminals posing threats on U.S. soil, finding that their differences may actually be their strength.”
