Food Network has released a statement in response to the untimely death of Worst Cooks in America host Anne Burrell.
The celebrity chef was found dead at her Brooklyn home on Tuesday morning (June 17) and new details are emerging about her death, though a cause is still unknown.
Anne‘s family released a statement to confirm her passing and now her network is mourning the tragic loss.

“Anne was a remarkable person and culinary talent – teaching, competing and always sharing the importance of food in her life and the joy that a delicious meal can bring,” a network spokesperson told Page Six. “Our thoughts are with Anne’s family, friends and fans during this time of tremendous loss.”
