Henry Golding Shares Major Update on Future of 'Crazy Rich Asians'

Henry Golding is sharing a major update on the future of Crazy Rich Asians!
If you forgot, the 38-year-old actor starred alongside Constance Wu, Michelle Yeoh, Gemma Chan, and Awkwafina in the 2018 movie, based on on the book series by Kevin Kwan, directed by Jon M. Chu.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Max is developing a TV series based on the book series, and while appearing on Watch What Happens Live, Henry confirmed the reports and teased that production will begin very soon!
Keep reading to find out more…“Something’s been made,” Henry teased to host Andy Cohen on Thursday night (June 26). “I think we’re actually going to do a series. That’s what they’re trying to give us. Aiming for like first quarter even next year.”
He went on to say that there are scripts “hanging around,” but said he hasn’t read anything “yet.”
“But I hear it’s promising,” Henry teased.
Andy then playfully reminded Henry that the “first quarter” of 2026 is just “six months away,” adding, “let’s up hop to it” as Henry laughed.
