Hilary Duff Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Last Album 'Breathe In. Breathe Out,' Seemingly Teases New Music

Hilary Duff is marking the anniversary of her last album Breathe In. Breathe Out.
The last full LP from the 37-year-old entertainer was released June 12, 2015, featuring her much-talked about single “Sparks.”
Hilary took to her Instagram on Thursday (June 12) to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the album, and she also seemingly teased new music!

“It’s hard to believe that Breathe in Breathe out is 10 years old today. While that time in my life has some bright spots, some blurry spots and some uncomfortable pain, I look back with fondness and a now knowing that I ended up exactly where I needed to be,” she wrote.
“My photo roll from 2015 is truly lol. The selfies PR team was strong and a sepia filter hated to see me coming. I had/have the cutest son on planet earth and we really seemed to pack it in with adventure that year. Coolio nails were on the rise, I still had Dubs (rip buddy-not a day goes by that I don’t miss you), I cant remember what season of Younger I was shooting but that kept me bi-coastal and busy. Dubsmash was clearly the precursor to TikTok lip syncs and hints that things were touch and go in my personal life were clearly displayed by my chop jobs and hair color choices inspired by Crayola. Lauren has been riding with me so long – bless her. If it weren’t for Britney I would have never wanted to be a pop star. And Luca’s obsession with the Disney Cars movie had us buying rare ones from eBay for years to come.”
Hilary then talked about the lack of success the album reached, though her hardcore fans loved it, and she seemed to hint that she’s working on new music.
“While Breathe In Breathe Out didn’t have major success, there was still some work on the record that felt authentic. I see you all blaming yourselves on TikTok, not actually your fault (but really it was), just kidding, but don’t let it happen again…next time…okay,” the Younger star said.
“BIBO brought Matt into my world and that’s the real reason we have to love her. And lest we not forget the infamous dance moves that continue to entertain you and make me die a little inside. And no- I didn’t purchase that jacket (whew),” she concluded. “If you were one of the five people who listened to BIBO, drop your favorite song below. Love you”
Her husband, Matthew Koma, shared her post and added his own note about working on the album and flirting with her.
“10 yeras. Dang. Still remember writing this with @danbook1 in Woodland Hills and then flirting with the talent,” he wrote on his own Instagram story.
Matthew is credited as a songwriter and producer on the songs “Confetti,” “Breathe In. Breathe Out.” and “Arms Around a Memory.” Other songwriters on the album include Ed Sheeran, Colbie Caillat, Kara DioGuardi, Hilary, and more.
While celebrating Mother’s Day back in May, Matthew told Hilary to “please save millennial pop music” and shared photos of her in the studio!
