Get ready for the return of Fear Factor!

On Monday (June 23), it was announced that Fox is rebooting the early 2000s reality competition under the new title Fear Factor: The Next Chapter with Jackass star Johnny Knoxville serving as host.

Here’s the logline for the reboot via EW: “The iconic reality competition Fear Factor is coming back bigger, bolder and more daring. Dropped into an unforgiving, remote location, a group of strangers will live together under one roof, and face mind-blowing stunts, harrowing challenges and a twisted game of social strategy where trust is fleeting — and fear is a weapon. Only one contestant will conquer all their fears and walk away with the massive grand prize!”

The original Fear Factor show ran from 2001 to 2012 on NBC with Joe Rogan as the host. Ludacris then hosted MTV’s reboot, which ran for from 2017 to 2019.
