Netflix is releasing a new trailer for Building the Band featuring the late Liam Payne.

Liam filmed the Netflix series prior to his tragic passing and his family since gave the streaming service permission to release the series with him in it.

In a new trailer for the upcoming series, Liam is seen giving advice to the hopeful singers and comparing the process to his own experience in One Direction.

“How these bands are put together is not normal — we weren’t put together that way,” Liam is shown telling the contestants in the clip, referring to his start on The X Factor.

On the show, Liam was paired up with his bandmates Niall, Harry, Liam, and Zayn, but the Building the Band contestants will be paired up together without ever seeing each other.

Building the Band will premiere on July 9 on Netflix.
