Minka Kelly has skills outside of the acting world.

If you didn’t know, the 44-year-old Ransom Canyon actress, also had a job as a operating room scrub nurse. In a recent interview, she said that she is often open to returning to the profession amid the cutthroat Hollywood industry.

“If any amount of time passes, you’re like, ‘Okay, this is it. I had a good run. And that’s okay, everything’s okay. I have my backup. I can be a scrub tech again,’” she said while on TODAY with Jenna and Friends.

“Its a thing that sort of gives me confidence. [Acting] isn’t the whole world. The rejection that you get being an actor, it sort of balances that out for me. I can go, ‘I’m good at this.’ And I loved it so much,” she added.
