New 'Power' Spinoff Series In the Works at Starz, Two Stars to Reprise Roles

Fans of the Power franchise are in for a treat!
It was just revealed that Starz is currently in development on a new spinoff for the Power universe following the network’s separation from Lionsgate, according to Deadline.
This would mark the sixth series, following Power, Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Force and the upcoming Power: Origins.

While the new show is not yet officially titled, it is said it’s going under the guise of Power: Legacy, with Force showrunner Gary Lennon and Force writer/producer Kendra Chapman developing. Lennon will also serve as showrunner on the new series.
Per Deadline, Joseph Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr are set to star in the new show, reprising their roles as Tommy Egan and Tariq St Patrick, respectively.
Power: Legacy would be set in the present day and follow the events of Force, which is set to premiere it’s third and final season later this year.
Also coming to an end is Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which was recently announced that the upcoming fifth season will be it’s last.
