According to Peter, he’s not ready to call himself retired from the world of filmmaking just yet. He spoke to ScreenRant about the future of his film career.
“No, no. I’m certainly not retired. We are currently working on three different screenplays. I’m at the moment writing three different scripts,” Peter told the publication.
Peter said that he’s currently enjoying making documentaries, but it’s not the only thing he’s been doing in his filmmaking hiatus.
He shared during the interview that currently, his main priority is Colossal, the biosciences company he’s invested in. The company is in the process of trying to bring back an extinct New Zealand bird called the giant moa.
“To me, de-extincting the moa would be just as exciting, if not more exciting, than any film I could possibly make. I’ve made a lot of movies, but to see the giant moa brought back would be a level of excitement that I think would supersede anything at this point in time,” Peter revealed.
