Rob Rausch Explains His Decision to Skip 'Love Island USA' Spin-Off Series
Rob Rausch is explaining why he won’t be in the upcoming Love Island spin-off.
The 26-year-old was one of the cast members during season 6 of Love Island USA but declined to join some of his co-stars in an upcoming spin-off.
During an Instagram Live session with co-star JaNa Craig, Rob explained why he’ll be absent from Love Island: Beyond the Villa.

According to Rob, the main thing holding him back from joining the spin-off was the filming location.
Rob shared during the stream that he doesn’t live in Los Angeles. Because the spin-off is supposed to follow the former Love Island cast members’ lives after the show, Rob felt like filming in LA wouldn’t be an authentic look at his life.
“Like, what do you want me to do? Just show up and say, ‘Hey, this is my life. I live here for eight weeks.’?” Rob questioned during the Instagram Live stream.
Meanwhile, JaNa will be in the series but said she could understand Rob‘s decision to say no.
