Scheana Shay is opening up about a time on Vanderpump Rules that the cast scripted the drama.

The 40-year-old reality star wrote about the season nine finale in her new book “My Good Side: A Memoir,” where she teamed with some of her co-stars to orchestrate a big moment to bring in an attempt to make sure their jobs were secure.

In a new interview, she also opened up about her and Lala Kent scripting the drama in the finale, which took place at James Kennedy and Rachel Leviss‘ engagement party.

“We absolutely scripted that finale. [Lala and I] pulled Ariana [Madix] and Katie [Maloney] aside, and we’re like, ‘OK, we’re going to show up and do our job, but we’re not going to tell production that we’re going to fake a fight… Production won’t know we did that until this comes out,’” she told Us Weekly.

“That was a one-off and the only time we faked something. It was desperation over wanting to save our jobs and get another season,” Scheana added.

VPR then went on for two more seasons with the existing cast. A 12th season is in the works with an all new cast!

Also in her memoir, Scheana opened up about her husband cheating on her when she was pregnant.
