Scott Porter Has Mixed Feelings About Possibly Returning for 'Friday Night Lights' Reboot

Scott Porter is weighing in on the upcoming Friday Night Lights reboot.

While promoting the new season of Ginny & Georgia, Scott, 45, admitted he has mixed feelings about possibly playing Jason Street again.

“For somebody that suffered a catastrophic injury like him, for somebody who is coming out of a town like Dillon, a lot of them are trying to get out of Dillon and break the cycle and Jason did that almost better than anyone,” he added.
However, Scott noted that he isn’t ruling anything out yet.
“I would love to come back — of course — but only if it really fits the story that they are trying to tell,” Scott explained. “I have nothing but trust and love for [executive producer] Peter Berg and [showrunner] Jason Katims and the whole creative team that’s coming back. If they ask then 100 percent but if not, I’m so satisfied with the way Jason’s story ended.”
Another former Friday Night Lights actor addressed the possibility of returning for the reboot.
