'Superman' Opening Weekend Box Office Numbers Are In!

Superman is soaring at the box office.
The DC film, starring David Corenswet as the Man of Steel, has already brought in over $122 million in its first weekend of release, via Variety.
That number marks the third-largest debut of 2025, after A Minecraft Movie ($162 million) and Lilo & Stitch ($146 million).
The international box office brought in an additional $95 million from 78 markets, bringing its global tally to $217 million thus far.

It’s also the first entry in the relaunched DC Universe, with Supergirl to follow in the summer of 2026.
The movie currently commands an 82% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with an audience score of 93%.
