Taraji P. Henson is stepping out for the premiere of her new Netflix movie!

The 54-year-old Oscar-nominated actress joined co-stars Teyana Taylor and Sherri Shepherd at the premiere of their new movie Straw on Tuesday night (June 3) held at The Plaza in New York City.

Fellow cast members Rockmond Dunbar, Mike Merrill, Glynn Turman, and Ashley Versher were also in attendance along with Tyler Perry, who directed and wrote the movie.

Here’s a brief synopsis of the movie: “What will be her last straw? A devastatingly bad day pushes a hardworking single mother to the breaking point — and into a shocking act of desperation.”

Straw hits Netflix on Friday, June 6.
