Chelsea set huge asking price for wantaway star
Chelsea have set an asking price of £50m ($68m) from Arsenal for their wantaway star Noni Madueke.
The English international is currently playing for the Blues at the Club World Cup in the USA, but has been strongly linked with a move across London to Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta is keen to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season and has added Madueke to a list of potential targets.
The Gunners are believed to have already agreed personal terms with the England international and are preparing to make their opening offer.
Chelsea bought the 23-year-old for £30m from PSV Eindhoven two-and–a-half years ago and now expect to make a significant profit by selling him.
Though Madueke has been a key player in the Chelsea team under Enzo Maresca, the chances of him leaving the side are highly likely.

What Maresca said about the Madueke to Arsenal situation
“But my message to the players and to the club is that I want just players that are happy to be with us.”
“The ones that are not happy, they are free to go. Noni has been very good during the season.”
Maresca’s words leave the door wide open for Madueke’s exit in the ongoing summer transfer window. Now, all that remains to be seen is if Arsenal make an offer that meets Chelsea’s expectations.
