Chicago Sky's Angel Reese reportedly 'hates' Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark

The ongoing Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark saga has been one of the most lopsided rivalries in the history of sports.

Reese is an above-average center, a dominant force on the low block, who has earned WNBA All-Star nods in both of her first two seasons in the league.

Clark is a generational talent who has elevated women's hoops to new heights.

Their impact is not comparable.

Reese is still one of the faces of the league's golden generation, and her immense popularity earned her the cover of the 2K26 W edition. This got tremendous blowback online from internet trolls pretending to care, with some hurling racial attacks at the 23-year-old.

That led to a former NFL standout coming to her defense but also dropping a fascinating tidbit about the Reese/Clark dynamic.

Robert Griffin III took to X to condemn an edit of Reese as a monkey on the cover, writing a lengthy post about how there's no place for racism and hate in the world, but buried toward the end of his tweet, he revealed some stunning information.

"People in Angel's inner circle called me and told me I was right and Angel Reese has grown to hate Caitlin Clark because of the media always asking her about Caitlin and being constantly compared to her," Griffin wrote.

What a bizarre thing for RG3 to bring up in a post that was allegedly supposed to highlight Reese's achievements.

Reese's disdain for Clark is apparent on the floor and in interviews, but anyone in her position would dislike someone they are relatively compared to.

Hopefully, Clark and Reese can reconcile and acknowledge this "beef" is media-manufactured, and RG3 gains some much-needed public awareness.
