Georgia Bulldogs football lands 4-star recruit commitment from Ohio State’s backyard
The Georgia Bulldogs just took a step into Ohio State's backyard and came home with a four-star football recruit.
The fast-rising tight end Brayden Fogle announced his commitment to Georgia on Friday.
Fogle is a 6-foot-8 tight end, one of the most unique players in his class.
He's from Lexington High School, just outside of Mansfield, Ohio. It's about an hour north of Columbus.
Fogle's top-three also included Penn State and LSU.
It's an exciting pickup for Georgia, holding off a conference rival and a Big Ten stronghold in PSU.

Fogle brings an immense skillset to the Bulldogs' Class of 2026.
He was actually a high-major basketball recruit first, picking up offers by the time he was playing his first high school game. A lefty on the hardwood, Fogle is one of the best dunkers in the state of Ohio.
It's easy to imagine him in Georgia red going up to high point a ball in the end zone for a key touchdown.
And just as importantly for the Bulldogs, he won't be in a team on the other side of the College Football Playoff. He chose Georgia.
