Jon Jones 'tickled' by idea of UFC White House fight

As he has done throughout his career, Jon Jones uses social media to express his true desires. And for the retired former UFC two-division champion, fighting again is what interests him right now.

Jones, who vacated the UFC heavyweight title and announced his retirement last week, explained on X (formerly known as Twitter) why fighting at UFC White House in 2026 is in his plans.

"(President) Donald (Trump) made his announcement on the morning of the Fourth of July," Jones wrote on X, "I called the UFC headquarters that very same afternoon. I'll just leave it at that. America! Now that tickles my pickle."

Trump and UFC CEO Dana White are close friends, as Trump proclaimed plans to host the UFC to help kick-start the 250th celebration of the United States in 2026 in July. White has echoed those statements, seemingly making it a top priority.

Jones let it be known earlier that he is un-retired and has already entered back into the UFC drug testing pool. That is something he needs to do in order to be cleared to compete again.
