Kevin Harlan headlines Prime's new NBA broadcasting lineup announcement for inaugural season

The new NBA season starts in just a few months.

With the new season arriving, there are some changes to point out, especially on the broadcasting end.

Prime and NBC/Peacock will start broadcasting games in the 2025-26 NBA season, replacing TNT after they failed to be included in the new broadcasting contract with the NBA.

On Thursday, Prime announced its new lineup of broadcasters.

Who will be broadcasting NBA games for Prime?

Prime recently finalized the voices/faces we will see and hear doing NBA games come this fall.

Who will be doing play-by-play?

First, let's look at the play-by-play broadcasters:

  • Kevin Harlan
  • Ian Eagle
  • Michael Grady
  • Eric Collins

True NBA fans should be able to recognize at least a couple of the iconic names on this list.

Harlan has been doing NBA games for decades, most recently with TNT.

He's involved with the NFL and college basketball as well, making him one of the greatest commentators of all time.

Ian Eagle was also formerly with TNT doing NBA games, but also has done local broadcasts for the Nets.

Michael Grady has bounced around the league, calling games for the Nets, Timberwolves, and has done other nationally televised NBA broadcasts.

Last but not least, Eric Collins will be doing play-by-play for Prime, which is a huge win for many NBA fans.

Collins has had a long and successful career, but recently has been known for being the Hornets' local play-by-play broadcaster.

He's become popular for his unique calls when he doesn't hold back his enthusiasm for the game.

Which analysts will be on broadcasts?

Now, let's see which game analysts (aka color commentators) will be on Prime:

  • Stan van Gundy
  • Brent Barry
  • Dell Curry

Prime was able to aquire another TNT broadcaster, Stan van Gundy, who was one of TNT's lead analysts.

He's a former NBA coach and has been involved in the sport for years, making him a top-tier analyst.

Brent Barry will be making his return to broadcasting after a few years of coaching/working in NBA front offices.

Lastly, Dell Curry, who is, of course, Steph Curry's dad, will be an analyst for Prime.

He's been paired with Eric Collins for years, doing analysis for the Hornets' local broadcast.

Who are the sideline reporters?

We know what to expect from the play-by-play and game analysts, but now let's see which sideline reporters will be on Prime:

  • Cassidy Hubbarth
  • Allie Clifton
  • Kristina Pink

Hubbarth left ESPN recently to join Prime and be one of the lead sideline reporters.

She was with ESPN for over a decade, doing a lot of work around the NBA there.

Clifton is a former sideline reporter and pregame host for the Cavaliers and Lakers.

She is also a former college basketball player, attending Toledo.

Lastly, Kristina Pink is the third sideline reporter to join the new Prime broadcasting lineup.

She has experience in the broadcasting space with the NFL and NBA, and notably was recently a sideline reporter for the Clippers' local network.
