Kosei Fujita emerges as champion of NJPW's 32nd Best of the Super Juniors
2025's Best of the Super Juniors came to a close on Sunday, as over 3,000 people attended the finals at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. After three weeks of action stretching back to May 10, Block A winner Kosei Fujita, the youngest finalist in the three plus decades of the tournament, took on Block B winner, Yoh, the 2021 finalist looking to make amends on his return to the final.

13 matches in 22 days, 9 singles tournament matches, 8 points.
I gave everything I had into every match.
I’ve said many times that this was a dream come true for me, and now I get to look back at this memory as an achievement.

The night played out in a series of tag matches featuring all of the competitors who had spent the last few weeks battling with each other for block supremacy.
Highlights included death-match legend Jun Kasai confronting Junior-Heavyweight Champion El Desperado ahead of what is being billed as their final ever match on June 24. Also, Shingo Takagi officially took his place as No. 1 contender to Hirooki Goto's IWGP Championship ahead of NJPW's second biggest show of the year, Dominion, on June 15th.

After a battle that lasted 28 minutes and 5 seconds, Fujita pinned Yoh clean in the middle of the ring, and breaking Will Ospreay's record set in 2016 to become the youngest ever Best of the Super Juniors winner.
He will now challenge El Desperado for the Junior Heavyweight Championship at Dominion.
