Man United given boost as Premier League star 'hopes to join' club
Manchester United are looking to overhaul their squad this summer, with multiple high-profile players hoping to exit.
Ruben Amorim is also keen on adding depth to his squad, and one of his tactics is signing Premier League proven players.
Matheus Cunha has been secured from Wolverhampton, and Bryan Mbeumo still wants to join United, too.
Another Premier League player linked with the club is reportedly hoping to make the move this summer.
Which Premier League star wants to join Man Utd?
In an interview with AfricaFoot, former Nigerian star Julius Aghahowa has said that Wilfred Ndidi is hopeful about joining Man United.

Aghahowa said, "If the interest of Everton and Al Ahly is obvious, Ndidi hopes to join Manchester United. He wants to take a step by signing to a big club like Manchester United.
"He is powerful, able to boost the pressing, collect balls and aerate the game through his long diagonals."
Amorim is said to be looking for a new midfielder, especially after the departure of Christian Eriksen this summer.
Aghahowa believes that Ndidi could be a solution to United's problems. He said, "Wilfred is the player the Reds Devils need in midfield. He is surprisingly generous and able to repeat efforts and cover a lot of space.
"It would be a considerable contribution to the Manchester club if the transfer could materialize."
The club is also short on funds, and Ndidi could be bought for as little as £9, as Leicester were relegated to the Championship. Ndidi has plenty of Premier League experience, though, which could make him a valuable addition.
