NBA Draft picks tracker 2025: Complete results, list of selections from Rounds 1-2
The NBA Draft can set the course for a franchise and bring in young talent capable of making an immediate impact. Just ask this year's NBA champions.
The Thunder, the youngest team to win an NBA title since the 1976-77 Trail Blazers, have two starters who were selected in the 2022 NBA Draft (Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams). With brilliant scouting and draft strategy, general manager Sam Presti guided a team that went 24-58 in 2021-2022 to hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy in 2025.

A number of teams infused their rosters with impact players in the first round of this year's draft, beginning with the Mavericks' selection of Cooper Flagg at No. 1 overall. The Spurs rounded out their young core of Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle by taking Dylan Harper at No. 2, and the Pelicans traded up to get Derik Queen, the Big Ten Freshman of the Year, at No. 13.
There were more potentially franchise-altering decisions on Day 2, as general managers tried to find hidden gems. The Suns moved up to No. 31 to select Rasheer Flemming, a first-round talent from St. Joseph's, and the Raptors picked Alijah Martin, a national champion from Florida, at No. 39.
