Pacers mock Knicks with player street signs outside arena for NBA Finals
NBA Finals basketball is back in Indiana.
The decorating had begun, as the Pacers looked ahead to Game 3 in Indiana.
One of the decorations seemed to be a sarcastic nod to the Knicks.

What 'sarcastic nod' did Indiana have outside their arena?
The Pacers are getting ready to host their first NBA Finals home since Game 5 of the 2000 Finals, almost 25 years ago to the day.
To celebrate, they decorated the city and surrounded the arena with Pacers colors, posters, etc.

One interesting decision they made was putting the players' names on street signs:
The Pacers rename the streets around their arena after their players.

In the picture, you can see players' names like Tyrese Haliburton, Thomas Bryant, Myles Turner and Obi Toppin.
The intriguing aspect of this decision is that the Knicks did the same thing with their players outside of MSG before their ECF series with Indiana.
They received a lot of backlash for it, as they seemingly celebrated too soon.
This could be the Pacers' way of indirectly laughing at the Knicks for doing it, and rubbing it in that Indiana is in the NBA Finals instead.
