Pascal Siakam now only trails these two legends for most playoff points by African-born player
The NBA has become more of a global game throughout the years.
More players than ever are coming over from different regions/continents.
Recently, Africa has become an epicenter for basketball, as NBA players from there have done a lot of work to give players more opportunities.
Pascal Siakam was born in Cameroon and is one of the best African-born players in the NBA right now.
In the NBA Finals, he recently passed Serge Ibaka for third place in most playoff points scored by an African-born player.

Who two players does he trail on the list?
According to HoopsHype, Siakam now only trails NBA legends Hakeem Olajuwon and Steve Nash for playoff points scored, for players born in Africa.
It's pretty incredible to hear Siakam's name even in the same sentence as two former MVPs.
Siakam has been awarded for his past successes, most recently with an ECF MVP, but I don't think we often see him in the same way we see Steve Nash and Hakeem Olajuwon.

Siakam hasn't accomplished nearly as much as they have but has made large contributions to winning basketball in the playoffs.
Hakeem has a large lead in this category, with 3,755 career playoff points.
Nash is a ways away in second with 2,072 points.
Siakam as of Game 4 of the NBA Finals has 1,624 career playoff points.
Siakam is just 31 years old, and with a few more playoff appearances should have a good shot at passing Nash on this list.

Olajuwon's record seems untouchable for the moment, as Siakam would need many deep playoff runs to try and catch up.
These types of players have set the standard for new generations of basketball that will flow into the NBA over the next couple of decades, and they deserve credit for it.
The league wouldn't be where it is today if it weren't for players who revolutionized the game, and allowed it to grow in places it hadn't before.
