Pelicans draft pick Jeremiah Fears plans to remember everyone that doubted him

Oklahoma freshman Jeremiah Fears is going to remember.

He told ESPN that he plans to keep track of every player that went before him, and every team that passed on him.

It'll be six of each after Fears went No. 7 to the New Orleans Pelicans.

We'll help Fears out:

  1. Cooper Flagg to the Mavericks
  2. Dylan Harper to the Spurs
  3. VJ Edgecombe to the 76ers
  4. Kon Knueppel to the Hornets
  5. Ace Bailey to the Jazz
  6. Tre Johnson to the Wizards

Fears was rocking a diamond necklace with his own last name on it. He definitely has confidence.

And for good reason.

As a freshman, he led the Sooners in points, assists and steals.

His outside shot needs work, but this is a dude who can get to the basket at will.

The Pelicans just made a fun trade to get Jordan Poole.

Fears could slot in with Poole, Zion Williamson, Trey Murphy and Yves Missi in an uber-talented starting lineup.

This Pelicans team could be fun.
