‘SI Swimsuit’ model Lauren Chan dances in lingerie in sultry new shoot
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model and body-positive advocate Lauren Chan shared a striking new look in an Instagram update from Thursday, June 12, showing off her signature confidence in black lace lingerie and a tailored black blazer.
Chan, 34, moved effortlessly on the set, flipping her long dark hair and posing in pointed heels while the camera captured her steamy moves. Styled in a matching bra and thong from Victoria’s Secret, the look was paired with pieces by YSL and Amina Muaddi, according to the caption. Her glam was done by makeup artist Mical Klimal and hairstylist Ben Jones.
The video quickly got praise from fans and fellow creators, with one comment reading, “SUPERMODEL 🔥🔥” and another adding, “Jesus Christ. Made my day.” Dozens more lit up the post with fire emojis, calls for a “cold shower,” and reactions like “10000% you’re a STAR” and “GIRLLLLLL 🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
Chan added a reminder in the caption that captured the spirit of the post: “Your daily reminder that you do not have to be thin to be sexy.”
The Canadian model has long championed midsize and plus-size representation in fashion, and this latest shoot doubles down on that, with no apologies and no shortage of style. Chan is the first out lesbian to grace the cover of SI. She’s always unapologetic and confident on camera and certainly owns the moment, whether it's a glamorous gown or a leather dominatrix outfit.
