The U.S. Senior Open returns with its 45th edition to the Broadmoor Golf Club in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with some of the best golfers in the world competing for the title beginning Thursday.

Miguel Angel Jimenez is the odds-on favorite coming into this year's edition, with his victory at the Kaulig Companies Championship last week adding to his momentum. Nine former Senior Open champions will feature in the 156-player field.

Richard Bland is the defending champion, however, he will miss out on the tournament this year as he is participating at the LIV Golf event in Dallas.
