  • It was definitely a tough scene for the Yankees as numerous teammates spoke highly of Cabrera, including Trent Grisham, per Kuty. 

  • “He’s one of the best human beings in the clubhouse,” Grisham said. “It stings. It hurts a lot to see somebody that’s one of the best of us go down like that.”

  • For now, the Yankees are in wait-and-see mode, but Boone said he is in the hospital after leaving via an ambulance on Monday night.
